ALARMS

The advantage CSI offers to you is our depth of security knowledge. When it comes to home or business alarm systems we go into great depth in our questioning. This discussion, combined with a comprehensive security review of your premises allows us to focus on your concerns as well as our observation of your vulnerable areas. We then create an in-depth recommendation that best meets your specific needs.

A CSI home or business security system starts with a basic system design centered on the most vulnerable areas and also offers equipment options to increase your security and safety. Our systems are competitively priced and will meet requirements for insurance and other required standards.
Your system isn't complete without being connected to a state of the art U.L. monitoring center. Our professional and courteous monitoring staff will promptly handle your security and life safety concerns. We're there 24-hours per day to ensure you have the peace of mind you need.

COMMAND AND CONTROL CONSOLES

Assembling the different subsystems into an ergonomically designed command and control console enables one operator (guard) to monitor an entire complex, automating security functions. Emphasis is placed on ease of use, automation and serviceability of equipment.

Understanding Your Security Needs

Provide And Install An Integrated Security System. The system should be capable of meeting the rigid performance standards as outlined in the RFP—and provide flexibility for your business

Be Highly Reliable, Easy To Maintain System. Since your business will be automating security functions, the new integrated security system must be highly reliable, with a demonstrated track record of performance.

Provide A True Multi-user, Multi-tasking System. The system should enable Your business to perform various functions from multiple terminals simultaneously, including the monitoring of system functions (such as alarms) during the performing of system backups.

Integrate Into Company Network. The system should be able to easily integrate into Your business’s wide area network.

Deliver Reliable Service Support. The maintenance services for both hardware and software components of the system should be designed to provide quick response to a service problem, with a maximum downtime of twenty-four (24) hours or less.

Coordinate With Other Contractors. Since the project will involve close coordination with other contractors (electrical, door hardware, fire and elevator), all efforts must be made to make the installation of the security system work seamlessly with other related trades.

Adhere To Project Schedule and Phasing. Time is of the essence. The system must be installed within the established time schedule.

Avoid Disruption In The Working Environment. Most of the work will be performed in office space currently occupied by your business employees. Disruption to daily business activities, such as noise or physical impediments, must be kept to a minimum.

Be Scalable and Modularly Expandable. The system should be modularly expandable, both via software and hardware, to accommodate future growth without making the primary software package obsolete.

Be Easy Of Use. The system should be easy to use, enabling system operators to quickly learn how to use the system without continually referring to manuals. A professionally developed training program specifically structured for your business should accompany the installation process.

Working Together

The purchase of an integrated security system is the beginning of a relationship, which will typically endure a system life cycle of eight (8) years or more. Since the relationship is long-term, there are many factors that should be considered in your decision.

In comparing CSI with other security firms, we recommend that you establish evaluation criteria to measure expected performance for the life of the project. We have assembled evaluation criteria that are most commonly noted by our clients when selecting a security vendor. These are described below.

Engineering Documentation

In the security industry, one of the key criteria for the long-term success of system integrators is their ability to develop standards, which are translated to documentation. CSI maintains a fully-staffed engineering department, which develops written standards for system implementation.

Tight Schedule And Budget Requirements

CSI is experienced in working within tight schedules, meeting critical-path requirements and client budgets. Our technical resource base of trained and experienced personnel means that we can accommodate changes or variations in the schedule and requirements to meet your needs. This experience is derived from our work on numerous large-scale construction projects with truncated time schedules.

This project demonstrates that we can put forth the necessary team effort to meet your schedule.

Based on our survey of your facility, we will design an integrated security system to achieve three objectives: First, it will automate your security operations by reducing manpower requirements as well as increase the efficiency of existing personnel. Second, since it will automate security functions, our system has been designed for a high level of system reliability. Finally, even great technology can be cumbersome and difficult to use. Our system has been designed to be employee-friendly as well as easy to use by control-center operation personnel.
